Before we leave..

     We have less than a week before we leave, and after counting down the days for over six months I can't believe it's already finally here!  Also I can't believe how unorganized I STILL am after having over six months to prepare! (Not to include whether I'm even doing this blogging thing right).  However, it is safe to say that I cannot wait for the experience ahead of me. I expect to meet lots of people from all over the world and the U.S.  I expect to try new foods, good and bad.  I am excited to dive in the culture of Spain and the people there.  I look forward to these sietas, an afternoon nap after lunch sounds like my kind of day.  I believe my Spanish will increase a great amount, and a deeper understanding of the language as well.  Most importantly I think that this trip will open my eyes to see what else is really out there.  I hope it will help me expand my mind for a better understanding what the world really has to offer me.  I think it will give me a better appreciation for what I have here at home, and the opportunities I'm given to go on trips like this one.  If I did this blog thing right then I look forward to checking in and updating my trip in Madrid!
